Mrunal Thakur is an Indian actress and a model who appears in Hindi movies. Mrunal Thakur early screen appearances were starring roles in the television Mujhse Kuchh Kehti...Yeh Khamoshiyaana as main role Gauri Bhonsle Gaikwad, and Har Yug Mein Ayega Ek Arjun as crime reporter Sakshi in 2012-2013. Then she did Kumkum Bhagya (2014–2016) and the drama film Love Sonia (2018). 

In 2019, Mrunal Thakur featured in the biographical drama Super 30 and the action thriller Batla House, both of which were commercially successful. Now she doing Jersey opposite to Shahid Kapoor, and Toofan opposite to Farhan Akhtar. Mrunal Thakur also doing two Netflix series: First - Baahubali: Before the beginning in the main role as Sivagami, and second - Karan Johar's Ghost Stories.

Mrunal Thakur did two Marathi films between her television career: Vitti Dandu, and Surajya. Both are released in 2014.

Mrunal Thakur was born in a Marathi Hindu family. She has two siblings, an elder sister Lochan and a younger brother. She completed Bachelors's in Mass Media (Journalism) from K. C. College.
